When Australia was declared as Commonwealth in year 1901, the immigration process started and the colonies united. Since then, Australia’s population started increasing through immigration. But, the times between year 1788 and 1901 were the expansion, which therefore, the policy of migration ignored the issue of the migrants’ skill-level and concentrated on excluding anyone not belonging to the European lineage. From that day, the policy on Australian immigration has sought in compensating for it through targeting skillful and educated migrants not only from the continent of Europe, but also from some countries across the globe.
